The support act, Palladium, were actually pretty good. Lots of energy and high octane 80s-feeling tunes, unfortunately brought together in a very public-school looking package, proves to be the longer of the two sets. Stand out tune for my was called High Five (I think)!
Dragonette are like a latter day No Doubt, and lead singer Martina Sorbara was even sporting a mid-nineties Gwen Stefani quiff! Dressed in an Adam Ant style shirt, PVC hot pants and stockings, I instantly became a big fan of Martina... by which of course I mean her music.

With lots of charisma, Martina soon had the audience joining in with the fun, even inviting a member of the audience to dance with her. I shoved Saf forward, but poor old Mr Passive Resistance took over and he bottled out. Coward!
All in all a cracking night, albeit a short one!
